1. Fashion forecasting for upcoming seasons
2. Seamless Print drawing on illustrator for textile printing
3. Designing the garment after getting the fabrics in a way that suits the brand.
4. Designing tech packs for the garments
– Study fashion trends and anticipate designs that will appeal to consumers
– Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration
– Staying up to date with industry trends to keep ahead of competitors
– Work with other designers or team members to create prototype designs
– Problem-solving abilities that adapt to a variety of situations
– Understanding of fabrics and materials
– Proficiency in computer-aided softwares
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to meet multiple deadlines
